About:
Ever since I was a little girl I’ve been obsessed with myths and legends. I think I was about seven or eight years old when during a guide tour of some ancient ruins in Turkey, I first heard the tale of how Perseus beheaded Medusa. Bloody as the tale is, it caught my interest and when I was back home after the holiday, I read all the books about Greek and Norse mythology, that I could get my little hands on.
Needless to say, that reading those books at such a young age raised a lot of eyebrows among my teachers and local librarians. Luckily, my parents always encouraged me to read, so they never stood in my way when I was reading those violent stories, that in today’s society probably would make someone call child protective services.
